This has been the most batshit crazy week of my entire life and I’m so okay with that because
1. I got a part in a show and will be making bank this summer
2. We leave for Boston to see Korinne bright and early tomorrow morning
3. I successfully moved everything out of my dorm before 1:30 am
and
4. Even though a lot of friends won’t be in my life for a couple months, I couldn’t be happier because I truly have met the greatest people in the world this year.
WOOO SOPHOMORE STATUS HAPPY SUMMER EVERYONE
Aaaaaand
After a meeting with my advisor, things are all in order for next semester!
I will have to choose between acting II and a composition class on empathy, though.
But everything’s coming up roses.
Fna fna fna.
I get on Facebook and find details regarding:
-A trip to zombie paintball.
-An evening of pumpkin carving/pumpkin themed dinner (with pumpkin pie made from REAL pumpkins) (PUMPKINS)
-A study session tonight with my acting class that might be my favorite group of people in the world.
Fall. Good.
I have an irrational devotion to award shows.
Also, spending 23.5 hours with 85 of the most amazing people I’ve ever met has left me unbelievably happy and hopelessly unprepared for my Religions of Asia exam tomorrow.
College! Midnight studying! Leftovers!
JOSH GROBAN SANG ONE DIRECTION
Okay it’s actually time to stop now.
…goodnight.
I am walking on air.
Things are just clicking and it might not last but I am sublimely happy.
College suits me just fine. I’m working in a theatre library, which is basically heaven. I’m in an unbelievable choir AND I get to be in the Varsity Singers dance group. I’ll be working with some of the PR people from the Jacobs School of Music who are just incredible. I have the best friends in the world, even though I had to say goodbye to one who’s Boston-bound tonight. Things are good and I cherish that.
Ahhhhhh. Now I need to go to sleep.
MY EYES WON’T STAY OPEN IT’S TOO LATE AND I HAVE TO WRITE A PAPER ABOUT WHAT I THINK RELIGION IS THAT’S TOO BIG OF A QUESTION FOR ONE NIGHT PLEASE TRY AGAIN TOMORROW
This is not Eve.
This is Alex. A lovely lovely girl who lovely loves Eve.
We both start COLLEGE tomorrow.
Idn’t that something?
Best of luck, Eve! GO TO SLEEP.
Hey, that’s me.
Well I just watched Star Wars: A New Hope for the first time and that was exciting but then I got my first college textbooks and LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA AND THE ENTIRE CAST OF IN THE HEIGHTS are on my theatrical design book. I will never be sad in that class.
p.s. I really liked Star Wars.
I’m gonna watch the sun rise in about an hour. It has to be done at least once this summer.
In the mean time, let me obsess about how I have two more full weeks at home. I’m not moving very far, but it’s mind boggling all the same.
